Atypical Science is your portal to accessible autism and neurodiversity research.

Who are we?

We are a group of health care professionals who create content to empower autistic and neurodivergent individuals to make decisions for their own health and wellbeing by understanding the science.

Neurodiversity means it is okay for brains to function differently.

The neurodiverse community has told us that health and wellness research about autism, ADHD, and other neurodiversities is:

  • Hard to trust.
  • Hard to access.
  • Hard to understand.
  • Hard to use.

Our team of atypical scientists is changing that.

Why are we atypical?

Atypical means “not normal” and we are atypical because we create research content which is:

  • Easy to trust.
  • Easy to access.
  • Easy to understand.
  • Easy to use.

On this blog, you can discover autism and neurodiversity research which is explored and explained by neurodivergent people.
